Junior Tennis Night was run every Friday by Mike Schorah and was very well supported again this year.

Tennis Clubmark is the Lawn Tennis Association's Club accreditation programme.

Achieving Clubmark means the LTA endorses and supports the tennis programmes we deliver on the courts, and the policies and procedures we have in place off court. These are crucial in assuring we provide a safe environment for junior members and ensures we run the Club professionally to LTA & Sport England standards. It may take us many months to satisfy the exacting requirements, but we have now made the positive step to apply to ensure we have the right Business & Action plans in place to ensure our Clubs continued development for many years to come.

BOTH BERTRAM TEAMS PERFORM WELL IN 2009 SEASON

The Bertram First Team, playing in the 3rd Division, finished in a very creditable 5th place after gaining promotion last year.

The second team, playing in the 5th Division, yet again won promotion for the second year running.   Many congratulations to all those who played and organised our teams this season.
