ANNUAL CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS

There are still a number of Junior events to complete but we hope to have all the results for a second presentation to Juniors and parent & child teams at the next Quiz Night on 7th October.

Congratulations to our Men's Singles Champion Daniel Jones, and Ladies Singles winner Shona Coppin.

Thanks for everyone who has donated clothing and shoes through our Rag Bag collection bank at the Clubhouse. The bin was filled through your efforts and Rag Bag collected 9 large bags on14 September. We are now waiting for them to be delivered to their HQ in Scotland and weighed. We should then receive our first cheque to go into Club funds.

BERTAM LTC ACHIEVES LTA TENNIS CLUBMARK ACCREDITATION

AT THE AGM IN NOVEMBER BERTRAM WERE PRESENTED WITH THE PRESTIGIOUS TENNIS CLUBMARK AWARD BY CHESHIRE LTA PRESIDENT BARBARA BLOOR.

THE COMMITTEE HAD BEEN WORKING TOWARDS THE AWARD FOR OVER 12 MONTHS, AND WERE GIVEN  ADDED IMPETUS BY NEW HEAD COACH SARAH CASE-UPTON. 

ACHIEVING TENNIS CLUBMARK MEANS THE LTA ENDORSES AND SUPPORT THE TENNIS PROGRAMME WE DELIVER ON COURT,AND THE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES WE HAVE IN PLACE OFF COURT.

THESE ARE CRUTIAL TO ENSURING THAT OUR FACILITY IS MANAGED EFFECTIVELY AND THAT WE PROVIDE A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR JUNIOR MEMBERS TO ENJOY AND PLAY TENNIS.
