INVITATION to you and your family to our BIG lunch & Open Day

on SUNDAY 3rd JUNE 2012 at Bertram Tennis Club

We warmly invite all members, families, friends and our neighbours to join us. Just bring a picnic lunch and plate and we will provide the tables, decorations and entertainment.

The Clubhouse and Bar will be open but

we will eat outside if the weather permits. We start at 2.00pm and plan to eat at 3.00pm.

Thanks for everyone who has donated clothing and shoes through our Rag Bag collection bank at the Clubhouse. We have now just emptied it again for the second time and added £63.50 to Club funds. Many thanks, keep up the good work! 

BERTAM LTC ACHIEVES LTA TENNIS CLUBMARK ACCREDITATION

AT THE AGM IN NOVEMBER BERTRAM WERE PRESENTED WITH THE PRESTIGIOUS TENNIS CLUBMARK AWARD BY CHESHIRE LTA PRESIDENT BARBARA BLOOR.

THE COMMITTEE HAD BEEN WORKING TOWARDS THE AWARD FOR OVER 12 MONTHS, AND WERE GIVEN  ADDED IMPETUS BY NEW HEAD COACH SARAH CASE-UPTON. 

ACHIEVING TENNIS CLUBMARK MEANS THE LTA ENDORSES AND SUPPORT THE TENNIS PROGRAMME WE DELIVER ON COURT,AND THE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES WE HAVE IN PLACE OFF COURT.

THESE ARE CRUTIAL TO ENSURING THAT OUR FACILITY IS MANAGED EFFECTIVELY AND THAT WE PROVIDE A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR JUNIOR MEMBERS TO ENJOY AND PLAY TENNIS.
