Benefits of BRITISH TENNIS MEMBERSHIP

Bertram LTC actively encourages all adult and Junior members to join BRITISH TENNIS.
Membership is free until 2012.  This is not only for those juniors who want rankings to play in tournaments, it is also because the Clubs Wimbledon ticket allocation in future will be based on the number of BRITISH TENNIS members in the Club.  There are Membership leaflets at the Clubhouse, or you can join on the Website (at the bottom of this page), or by telephoning 0845 873 7202.

What is on offer for social players?

For the more social players, the monthly e-newsletter will provide news on the tennis community, you will be entered into the Wimbledon ballot, club leagues and ladders, as well as receive information on discounts and offers on pre Wimbledon events and via our partners such as Grand Slam Tennis Tours and Tennis Gallery.

We are offering membership for free until 2012 to members of affiliated clubs which is the perfect opportunity to join up and see what we are offering.

How long does my membership last for?
If you are a member of an affiliated club and signed up for core membership before, on or after March 1st 2008, your free core package will last until 28th February 2009. Any add-on packages that you have bought or buy after March 1st 2008 will last for 12 months from the date you bought them.

If you are not a member of an affiliated club and bought your membership and any add-on packages before March, they will all last for 12 months from March 1st.

If you purchase membership after March 1st, your membership will last for 12 months from that date of purchase – the same applies to any add-on packages you may have purchased.

What happened to the family membership?
In the new scheme all family members will need to take up their own individual membership packages.

One of the reasons for this change is that the previous family membership was not always working fairly as we found from research that 50% of individuals holding a family membership actually had no children under 18 in their family!

If you want to link your membership to a member of your family and / or want to ensure you get email or mail on behalf of your child, please call our Membership services on 0845 873 7202 who will be able to record the information.
